Lotus Essence Tantra

The eminent Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche visits Gomde, Denmark to teach Lotus Essence Tantra, a timeless treasure from Padmasambhava. He gives the transmission together with the chanting method.

This concise tantra opens up to reality and the entire dharma path. It condenses all of vajrayana. It is a sadhana practice, a method for realisation, which we can apply to connect with its atmosphere, the original mind beyond concepts.

During the retreat we will chant the tantra in the temple several times, so the deep meaning becomes part of our experience. Padmasambhava says that reading the tantra aloud brings boundless benefits.

Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche guides with playful precision and insight. This is a rare opportunity for all of us to connect with one of the most important lineage holders of our time. Rejoice!

Practical Information

Arrival and Departure
Participants may arrive from the morning of July 15. The retreat concludes in the afternoon of July 18.

Accommodation
The following fees covers three nights, July 15 – 18, and three daily plant-based meals at Gomde:

Single Room: 550 euro
Double Room: 400 euro
Dormitory: 260 euro
Camping, by own tent or caravan: 220 euro
Staying off-site: 220 euro

Donations
The teachings are offered as a dharma gift. Participants are invited to make a donation for the teachers at the end of the retreat. Please bring cash, as there are only limited options for withdrawing money at Gomde.
